All new homes go through an adjustment or “curing” process during the first few months of occupancy as they adjust to the environment. During this period, there is a need for a team effort of your own simple program of home maintenance and Great Southern Homes’ warranty service program to ensure satisfaction with your new home. Please read all materials you have been given to fully understand all aspects of the warranty provided on your home. Remember – it’s a team effort.
All non-emergency requests MUST be submitted in writing to our Warranty Department.

All Emergency issues regarding Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC please contact the subcontractor directly. You will find their contact information on your Builder Decal.
Emergency issues are: total loss of water, loss of heat, loss of electricity, or a situation that jeopardizes occupants of the home. Unfortunately, loss of air conditioning is not considered an emergency.
