Michael P. Nieri graduated from Clemson University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science and Management. Soon thereafter he began building custom homes. In 1999, Nieri visualized a need in the Columbia market for well built, affordably priced homes and commenced building homes for first time homebuyers with his signature style and quality.

For over 20 years, Nieri's quality craftsmanship has been showcased in some of the finest homes in Columbia, S.C. He continues to operate Great Southern Homes with the same fundamental philosophy he established years ago as a custom builder, "Family Building for Families."
